Guild of St. Mortimer -
There are some files that I'd like to make accessible for the guild members that don't have gmail and can't access the files section of the google group. Links to those files are below. Most are Word 97 docs, one's a pdf. If you can't open a Word97 doc, let me know.
Compendium of Common Knowledge - this is a file that's been running around faire for as long as I've been doing faire. It's got a lot of information in it.
Elizabethan English - not my file. Very long. A lot of words that faire folk don't even use.
Margery Green's Guide for New Immigrants to the Shire - this is my file; I'm still working on parts of it, but for the most part it's done. Haven't worked out the costuming section yet.
Henrican England - not mine, but up here because is decent information
Language - this is a compilation that I put together, but the content is not my own work. Please read this file.

Netflix has a lot of instant watch Historical movies that have great costuming and language. Elizabeth R and The Six Wives of Henry VIII are great for costuming and historical data. Yes, they're dramaticized, but they're still a great refereence.
